Description

Manor or liberty of Moreton. At Domesday may have been included in West Wycombe as afterwards held by Bishop of Winchester. Still belonged to bishopric in 1797. Waller family held Moreton under the Bishop of Winchester 1797; still owned it 1908. Moreton 1st place of residence of Lees in Buckinghamshire (B5).
