Dimensions - Length 100m, Width 85m.
Plan Form - SEMICIRCULAR
HOMESTEAD MOAT MUCH ALTERED & DENUDED (B4).
AT S END OF VILLAGE COMPLEX IS A WATER FILLED HOMESTEAD MOAT (B7).
HEAVILY OVERGROWN BUT WITH DEEP DITCH. SURROUNDING INTERIOR PLATFORM 1-1.5M ABOVE DITCH BOTTOM. ENTRANCE APPEARS TO BE NW (B8).
MAP OF 1803 SHOWS MOAT WITH BUILDINGS INSIDE & OUT (B4).
Archaeological watching brief carried out during building in modern farmyard to the south revealed no archaelogical features (B12).
This area was assessed as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604) and the features were mapped and recorded in record MBC1069. (24)
