TETCHWICK HAMLET, FORMERLY HELD BY ALWIN ASSESSED IN 1086 AS A MANOR OF 2 HIDES, INCLUDED IN WM PEVEREL'S LANDS. LATER GIVEN TO KNIGHTS HOSPITALLERS. LATER OWNERS WERE DE SCACCARIO, HAWTREY, CROKE, JENKINSON, MITCHELL, HOLLIER, BETT (FULL MANORIAL HISTORY)(B1,B3).
