Tetchwick Farm, about 1½ miles NE of the church, is a two-storeyed stone building of late 17th-century date, partly covered with modern rough-cast; the roof is thatched. The original central chimney stack is of thin bricks. Inside the house is an open fireplace, partly blocked, and one door of moulded battens. Condition [in 1912] —Good (B2).
Grade II. House. C17, altered mid C18. Rear wall of front range is timber framed, remainder rebuilt in coursed rubble stone with first floor band course. Old tile roof, central chimney of thin brick. 2 storeys and attic, 5 bay fenestration. 4-pane sash windows, mostly replaced C20. Ground floor of right bays is irregular with 4-pane sash flanked by fixed barred windows. Central 6-panel door, top-lit, in wooden frame with cornice hood on shaped brackets, the leading of the hood dated 177?. Gables have old 3-light leaded attic casements. Brick lean-to to rear with barred iron casements, one in a gabled dormer. Range of single storey brick and weatherboard outbuildings, now incorporated into house, at right-angles to rear of right bays. Interior: C17-C18 winder stair in line with entry and stack; stop chamfered spine beams; old board doors; moulded surround to left gable window. RCHM II p. 252 Mon. 19 (B8).
