How to get started researching family history

The Centre for Buckinghamshire Studies is definitely the place to go if you are doing a family history study.

There is also a website called Gen UK with a page on Buckinghamshire. It has many transcribed primary sources online, a list of books related to Buckinghamshire, census details, parish registers, directories, lists of sheriffs and prisoners, probate records, links to museums, records by parish and many other useful sources.
