A hoard of 32 Roman copper coins, chiefly of the Middle Empire were found in 1772 at North End; in 1792 eight of the coins were in the possession of Col Innes of Ibstone House. Possibly a 2nd century hoard.

Site of a Medieval timber-framed cruck-built farmhouse built about 1398-1431, with sixteenth, seventeenth and eighteenth century alterations, demolished in 1965.

Historic boundary evident on pre 1845 maps. Investigated during groundworks for the A4146 bypass.
