Description

BAYLINS/BALINS FARM, PROBABLY ON SITE OF C16 BEELINGS MANOR, SOMETIMES CALLED BEELING'S FARM. ATTACHED TO DUCHY OF LANCASTER, IT WAS HELD BY WILLIAM LORD WINDSOR,1568. NOW KNOWN AS BAYLINS FARM IT DESCENDED WITH OTHER PENN ESTATES TO EARL HOWE. LOST MANORIAL STATUS, IF IT HAD ANY, IN EARLY C17 (B1).
