TO NE OF MOAT IS A POND WITH SPRING NEARBY (B3).
POSSIBLE FISHPONDS ADJACENT TO MOAT ON N, POSSIBLY UTILISING SE ARM OF MOAT WHICH APPEARS TO BE DAMMED TO N. ACCORDING TO LOCAL INFORMATION THE FIELD CONTAINING THE MOAT WAS THE SOURCE OF WATER PIPED TO PRESTON BISSETT VILLAGE (B6).
