MISSENDEN CARTULARY C.1133, GWYNANT'S MILL GIVEN TO ABBEY - BELIEVED THAT AT WYCOMBE MARSH (B5).
DOMESDAY 6 WATER CORN MILLS ATTACHED HIGH WYCOMBE - 2ND PART OF GYNAUNT'S FEE (B6).
BASSETSBURY MANOR ACCOUNT ROLL 1411-12 SHOWS DEPOPULATION. GYNANT'S MILL IN RUINS (B7).
Detailed historical notes and 1930s condition. Power driven factory in 2006 (B15)
An archaeological desk-based assessment of the Bunzl Paper Mill site concluded that there was moderate potential for the survival of archaeological remains across the site, and that components of medieval and post-medieval mills may have survived within the present building complex (B16).
