ESTATE KNOWN AS DAGNALL/SPIGURNELLS MANOR PART OFLAND OF GILBERT OF GHENT. FIRST CALLED A MANOR IN 1366, SAID TO BE HELD OF DUNSTABLE PRIORY & OF THE CROWN IN CHIEF. RICHARD SPIGURNEL HELD NUCLEUS OF MANOR IN 1199. HELD BY SPIGURNELS TILL 1386. LAST MENTIONED IN 1637 (B1,B4).
