1284 WALTER DE UPTON. 1302-3 JOINT WITH HUGH THE MARSHALL, MANOR DIVIDED. DE UPTON'S MARRIED INTO HAMPDENS INTO WHOSE HANDS MANOR PASSED. 1725-6 FORCED TO SELL 4 MANORS OF GREAT KIMBLE DUE TO DEBTS TO THE CROWN (UPTONS BEING PRINCIPAL MANOR). 1730-1803 SPENSERS (B3).
