2 FOOTINGS REVEALED BY EARTHMOVING AT NGR. I: OF UNDRESSED LIMESTONE BLOCKS, SET IN YELLOW CLAY TRENCH; 2.1M LENGTH SURVIVED. TRENCH TURNED E AT RIGHT ANGLES AT S END. A FEW PIECES OF BURNT DAUB ASSOCIATED. II: OF LIMESTONE PEBBLES, THE ODD FLINT, 1 IRONSTONE BLOCK, 0.3M WIDE, 3.9M LONG (B8).
