BIFACIAL BOUT-COUPE CLEAVER, ALMOST RECTANGULAR SHAPE WITH ALL-ROUND CUTTING EDGE. UNROLLED, GREY & YELLOW WITH PATCHES OF CRUST, BELOW WHICH FLINT IS NEARLY BLACK. BROAD END FLAKED LONGITUDINALLY & FACES EQUALLY CONVEX. FOUND 120CM DOWN IN 370CM DEPOSIT RED BRICKEARTH, MEAD'S BRIGE PIT (B1-2,B4).
