Description

Iron Age A sherds found 1963-6 in spoil from churchyard graves, mostly by C Saunders (B7); also a few C13-C14 sherds (B6).
Material accessioned in 1963 includes 3 bases, 1 rim shouldered jar, 2 handles, all flint-gritted & of early pre-Roman Iron Age date (B9).
2 Iron Age sherds found in hillfort, April 1991, by Angus Wainwright, NT (B11).
