Description

HOUSE PLATFORMS CLEARLY VISIBLE ON APS. LAST REMNANTS OF ?HAMLET DEMOLISHED C19; THEN CONSISTED OF REMAINS OF A FEW WATTLE & DAUB COTTAGES, A TIMBER-FRAMED FARMHOUSE WITH HIGH, POINTED ROOF, & FARM BUILDINGS (B1).
NGR TO POSSIBLE MOAT ON SITE (B2).
Still extant in 1878-80 when the 1st Edition OS 6-inch map was surveyed (B5).
