POSSIBLE SAXON TRENCH FOUND IN PHASE II. WOULD SEEM FEATURE FOUND DURING EXCAVATION OF EASTER 1976 BACK-FILLED IN C12 BUT COULD HAVE BEEN DUG MUCH EARLIER (B1).
