1ST LEVEL EXCAVATED SUMMER 1975: COBBLES (5-6 BELOW TURF) - FARMYARD IN EXISTENCE UP TO 1930'S. SUBSEQUENT LEVELS SHOWED EARLIER OCCUPATION - ESP. LEVEL 4: ANOTHER COBBLED LAYER DATED TO C1600, PROBABLY AN EARLIER FARMYARD. EXCAVATED BY MR BRYAN BLAKE (B1).
