Dimensions - Depth/Thickness 0055 m
WATER FILLED WELL, 170 FEET DEEP AND 10 FEET DIAMETER, CUT THROUGH CHALK. FINDS EXCAVATED BY WATFORD UNDERWATER CLUB IN 1974 INCLUDE TUDOR CLAY PIPES MUCH WOOD AND POST-MEDIEVAL MATERIAL (B1). SECTIONAL DRAWING OF WELL AND INVENTORY OF FINDS (SEE CASS 02266:00:001 AND 00:002) (B2-3).
