Description

Helesthorpe had a Chapel of Ease to Drayton Beauchamp (B1).
Last record of chapel in 1388 (B3).
Fell to ruin, no trace of building. Sculptured stones dug up; no human remains found. 'Chapel', 'Trinity' & 'St John' field names here [1862](B2).
These field names not traced on 1839 map (B3).
