Description

MANOR HOUSE BUILT BY SIR ROBERT DORMER BEFORE 1616, WHEN HE DIED, LEAVING IT TO HIS WIFE. THE HOUSE FELL INTO DECAY AND WAS DESTROYED AND THE CONTENTS DISPERSED. A NEW SMALL HOUSE 'OF NO PARTICULAR INTEREST' WAS BUILT IN THE FIRST HALF OF C19. (B1,7-8).
