Description

Grade II. House, formerly accommodation for gardeners on Eythrope estate. Circa 1880-90, possibly by W. Taylor of Bierton, for Alice de Rothschild. Left bay part ashlar; second bay with half-timbered and tile-hung upper storeys each jettied on beam ends; 2 bays to right with red and vitreous brick to ground floor and colourwashed roughcast above. Tiled roofs, brick chimneys with pilasters. Picturesque. Mostly of 2 storeys, the second bay with third storey and half-hipped gable. Wooden casements. Included for group value (B12).
