Description

Grade II. Grotto. Mid C18. Tufa and roughcast with inset pieces of quartz. Forms arch over small inlet of lake. Artificial stalactites, stalagmites and columns. Probably built for Sir William Stanhope as ornament for grounds of former Eythrope House (B12).
