CONSIDERABLE & ALMOST CONTINUOUS NUMBER OF ANIMAL BONES - MAINLY DOGS & SMALL RODENTS - FOUND IN FILL BELOW 5M. SOME SENT TO BRITISH MUSEUM & IDENTIFIED AS 12 SKULLS OF GREYHOUND-LIKE DOGS, 1 SPANIEL-TYPE & 1 BADGER SKULL. CHALK SIDES OF SHAFT SHOWED DEEP PERP. SCRATCHES AT THIS LEVEL, ?CLAW MARKS (B3-6).
