Description

FURTHER MATERIAL RECOVERED FROM DITCH SPOIL ALONGSIDE 'A' - MOSTLY RB (B2).

Centred SP 671086. Field ditching by Mr Harding of Peppershill in July 1974 produced the following material:- 2 EIA rims, 1 Belgic rim and about 370 RB sherds including Samian and other fine wares. No specific concentration or material other than pottery was found. The bulk of finds are dated to the late 2nd century. To the S, a further three RB sherds were found at SP 67150830. Bucks County Museum Acc No 267:74 (B6).
