'CHALFONT POTTERY' & 'KILN' MARKED AT NGR, 1875.(BI1). POTTERY FROM WORKS AT BCM (00:001)(BI2) CLAYPIT (01:000)(BI3,6). THE PINER FAMILY WORKED AT CHALFONT POTTERY AT MARSHAM END AT LEAST FROM 1707-1869.(BI5) OWNED BY F & E SAUNDERS, 1897.(BI6). SITE NOW BUILT ON; NO SIGN OF KILN OR WORKS.(BI4)
