Description

'HOARD' OF 102 ROMAN BRONZE COINS FOUND IN RIVER BED. 55 WERE FOUND TOGETHER NEAR THE BANK & THE REST SCATTERED ACROSS THE BED. FINDER BELIEVES THAT DREDGING 15-20 YEARS AGO MAY HAVE DISLODGED COINS. NOT ASSOCIATED WITH ANY FORM OF CONTAINER, THE COINS 'ARE IN MINT CONDITION' (B9).
