Description
A SEQUENCE OF DITCHES & GULLIES WAS FOUND BETWEEN THE TRACKWAY & THE ROAD (FEATURES 1 & 2) ON W BANK OF R TWIN. 2 OF THE LARGER DITCHES ENCLOSED A CREMATION CEMETERY. STRUCTURES CONTAINED MUCH POTTERY & ANIMAL BONE; WERE PROBABLY IN USE C1 AD; FILLED IN BY C.75 AD? (B5). NGR TO SITE CENTRE.
