ROAD 3. ON E SIDE OF R TWIN, RUNS NNE-SSW.A MAJOR ROAD WHICH MET THE ROAD CROSSING THE RIVER (FEATURE 1) AT A JUNCTION. A FIRM LEVEL OF ROAD METALLING FOUND, APPROX 8-10M WIDE. ROAD LINE FOSSILIZED IN A MODERN PUBLIC FOOTPATH? SUGGESTED DATE OF ROAD 3 IS C1 AD. NGR TO SITE CENTRE (B5).
