Description

A SCRAMASAX DATED C.AD 600-800 FOUND AT A DEPTH OF 2FT IN A NEWLY CONSECRATED AREA OF AYLESBURY CEMETERY, WHILE A DRAIN WAS BEING DUG. SKELETONS (CASS 01944:01) WERE FOUND NEAR BUT NOT ACTUALLY WITH THIS OBJECT (B1-2).
