REF IN 1632 TO BUILDING: 'I MADE A POND AT FAWLEY COURT & AN ARCH BUILT WITH FLINT STONES & BRICKS UPON GREAT PILES OF BEECHWOOD...UPON THE ARCH I SET A NEAT BANQUETTING HOUSE' (B7).
IN 1634 SIR BULSTRODE WHITELOCK PULLED IT DOWN & BUILT ANOTHER HIGHER UP. NO REMAINS. FIELD CALLED 'BANQUETING FIELD' (B4).
