BUCKINGHAM ASSOCIATED FROM C7 WITH ST RUMBOLD. BORN KINGS SUTTON, NORTHANTS, 1 NOV 626, DIED 3 DAYS LATER, having spoked on birth. 3 YEARS LATER, AT HIS WISH, BODY TAKEN TO SHRINE IN BUCKINGHAM CHURCH, MUCH RESORTED TO BY MEDIEVAL PILGRIMS (B9). ACCOUNT OF LIFE & LEGEND OF ST RUMWOLD & HIS SHRINE (B8). NGR CHURCH SITE (B6). Possible site of St Rumbold's tomb and shrine shown on annotated plan of original church superimposed on 1881 1st edition 25" OS map of churchyard (B10).
