Description
DECORATED SAMIAN SHERD FOUND ON ROMAN SITE, GRAVELPIT, TAPLOW STATION, 1940. DRAG 37 FORM (B9).
(SU 9181) Two Roman urns of unbaked pottery were found during the building of the railway at Taplow in 1837. They contained about 400-500 Roman silver coins ranging from Otho (69AD) to Lucilla (183 AD). No further information (B27).
