Description

IN LIPSCOMB'S ACCOUNT, MR COX, A LABOURER, FOUND A FLINT CIST WHILE DIGGING AT DEADMAN-DANES BOTTOM (B1).
NGR APPROX TO LOCATION (B3).
THE CIST HAD A LEVEL FLOOR COVERED WITH A DARK COLOURED SUBSTANCE ON WHICH LAY A HUMAN JAW BONE WITH TEETH, A SHOULDER-BLADE & HIP-BONE, WITH A BATTLE-AXE (01:001).
