Description

Bois Mill also known as 'Elliotts' from the papermaking family. In the C16 it was a fulling mill but insured as a corn & paper mill in 1793 by Joseph Elliott. John Elliott was the miller in 1853. Papermaking had ceased by 1864; it continued as a flour mill (B8).
