Description

Thomas Chaucer, son of the poet, died seised of an estate in Greenlands in 1434. In 1480 John d'Oyly (of Yewden) aquired the estate from William Stonor & the 2 properties unified (see CASS 04540). They were separated again 1688-1867. Small estate, not a legal manor, W of Dairy Lane (B1-2).
