MENTIONED IN CHARTER OF INCORPORATION OF AYLESBURY(1554) AS 'GLASYERS BRIDGE', A CORPORATION BOUNDARY. IT SEPARATED THE TOWN FROM WALTON HAMLET; HOWEVER, IT ADJOINS WALTON BREWERY, & IN LATTER YEARS HAS BEEN KNOWN AS 'WALTON BRIDGE' (B1). SEE ALSO CASS 0258, 281, 2475)
