Plan Form - RECTANGULAR
CROPMARK OF ENCLOSURE WITH APPARENT ENTRANCE ON NW, SIMILAR TO CIVIL WAR REDOUBT AT HAWTON, NOTTS, IN THE NEWARK SEIGE-WORK COMPLEX. BY 1948 THE SITE WAS COVERED WITH WASTE FROM ADJOINING FACTORY. COMPARATIVE ISOLATION FROM CENTRE OF POPULATION SUPPORTS IDEA THAT WAS A CIVIL WAR REDOUBT (B1).
