SHERDS COLLECTED BY G C LAMB FROM LOW BANK ON SLIP-ROAD IN FRONT OF THE CROWN. MOST APPEAR TO BE WASTERS, SUGGESTING A KILN IN VICINITY. NB EARLIER FIND BY R W GRIFFITHS (00:000), NOT CLOSELY LOCATED BUT NEARBY, WHICH ALSO CONTAINS PROBABLE WASTERS (B3). (POTTERY: SEE 01:001)
