MEDIEVAL OCCUPATION, CONSISTING OF A 'HUT' (MEDIEVAL SITE 1) & A PIT WITH AN AREA OF BURNING (MEDIEVAL SITE 2). EXCAVATED BY MANSHEAD ARCH SOC (B1).
NGR AGREED WITH EXCAVATOR (B4).
SITE WAS AT FOOT OF PITSTONE HILL, ADJOINING UPPER ICKNIELD WAY (B1); HAS SINCE BEEN QUARRIED.
