Summary

The site of Wood Siding station, opened in 1871-2 on the Wotton Tramway which linked Brill with Quainton Road. In 1899 Underground services arrived here when the Brill Tramway came under the management of the Metropolitan Railway, and eventually London Transport. The London Passenger Transport Board closed the Quinton Road to Brill Service from 1st December 1935.

Description

The site of Wood Siding station, opened in 1871-2 on the Wotton Tramway which linked Brill with Quainton Road. In 1899 Underground services arrived here when the Brill Tramway came under the management of the Metropolitan Railway, and eventually London Transport. The London Passenger Transport Board closed the Quinton Road to Brill Service from 1st December 1935. NBR7416. (B8 and B9).
