Description

The ouline of the foundations of two possible buildings of uncertain date visible as parch marks to the west of Grange Farm seen on aerial photographs. These can be seen as a small rectangular parchmark with a larger incomplete rectangular parch suggesting the robbed-out foundations of a larger building. There is a linear parchmark, possibly the traces of a former track or path leading from the larger building site SE in the direction of Grange Farm. This may have been the site of a small chapel or barn with an adjacent building (5).
This record includes National Record of the Historic Environment Information provided by Historic England on 4 June 2025 licensed under the Open Government Licence (6).
Parchmarks not visible on 1999-2023 vertical APs.
