1 OF 2 LARGE TUMULI - WESTERNMOST. WELL MARKED DITCH, BROAD TO NE. RAMP IN LINE WITH THE DYKE. SCHEDULED: SAM 35338 (B1).
STANDING ON LINE OF GRIMS DITCH - APPEARS BANK POSSIBLY REMOVED TO BUILD MOUNDS (B2-3).
2 SHERDS OF MEDIEVAL POTTERY (1 GLAZED) DISCOVERED (B4).
CROSS CUT IN MOUND MENTIONED (B1).
2 further sherds of medieval pottery found in rabbit hole (Brill decorated jug & lid rim), also misc sherds, roof tile and struck flake (BCM Accession 1996.133) (B11).
