1 OF 2 LARGE TUMULI - EAST. NO DITCH ON SURFACE. RAMP TO W. HOLE IN CENTRE. SCHEDULED: SAM 35338 (B1). STANDING ON LINE OF GRIMS DITCH - APPEARS BANK POSSIBLY REMOVED TO BUILD MOUNDS (B2,3). 3 MEDIEVAL SHERDS DISCOVERED (B4). Single piece of tap slag found (BCM Accession 1996.133) (B11).
