Description

Heavily truncated Iron Age to Roman pits and ditches found only in trench 2 (B3).
Excvatation identified pits, boundary ditches, and enclosures. Finds recovered included Roman pottery (some Oxfordshire mortaria). A gold-plated stater and ceramic building materials, and animal bones (B4).
