Description

Churchyard extended to NE in 20th century.
Watching brief carried out by KDK Archaeology In February 2024 during cutting of a soakaway to the NE of the church recorded the remains of a wooden coffin and four grave cuts, all orientated E-W and in two of which articulated human remains were disturbed. These compried the skull and mandible of an adult female in Grave 04, and the legs and feet of an adult male in Grave 10. See report for detail (B9).
