THE FIELD IMMEDIATELY NW OF THE DINTON HERMIT PUBLIC_HOUSE HAS AGAIN BEEN MUCH DISTURBED BY QUARRYING, PRESUMABLY FOR LIMESTONE FROM WHICH MOST OF THE OLDER HOUSES IN THE HAMLET ARE BUILT (B2).
