PALAEOLITHIC AXE, OF FORM LEADING TO DEVELOPMENT OF NEO POLISHED AXE. SUB-TRIANGULAR, WHITE PATINA WITH INDIGO MOTTLING, 1 FACE TRIMMED FLAT & OTHER CONVEX. PERHAPS FROM BRICKEARTH. FROM COLLECTION OF R JONES OF WELLING (B7).
