Description

POTTERY FROM TRENCH 29 INCLUDED SOME SHERDS WHICH JOINED UP WITH THOSE ORIGINALLY FOUND BY COL. S. C. MARRIOTT IN 1954, ENABLING A SHOULDERED JAR & A SHALLOW BOWL TO BE RECONSTRUCTED (ILLUS) POTTERY WAS MOSTLY HARD & GREY, FLINT GRITTED, WITH ROUGH SURFACE. DATED TO LATE C1 AD (B1-2).
