Description

1850 reference to Prestwood Common & 60 acres at its W end bounded on W by road from Polecat Lane to Honor End & on E by a large bank called Grime's Ditch (B4).
Mr Keen identifies the 60-acre field (centred at NGR). 'Gryms Dyke' estate, mid-C20, now occupies area (& see H B Eaton's work, filed, on possible course) (B12).
