THE ORIGINAL FONT OF ST NICHOLAS' CHURCH WAS REMOVED TO THE NEW CHURCH. THE STONE BASE HAS A NEW BOWL, WITH THE OLD, CRACKED BOWL ON THE GROUND BEHIND (B10,B12-15).
BOWL IS OF THE TABLE-TOP TYPE, NORMAN, OF PURBECK MARBLE WITH 4 SHALLOW BLANK ARCHES ON EACH SIDE (B10,B13-15).
